Cool Dynamic completely undertakes the manufacture of Cold Chambers with the use of Controlled Atmosphere (CA), which is Ultra Low Oxygen (ULO). We study, design and install controlled or modified atmosphere systems with complete success.

Controlled Atmosphere is a great advantage for the fruit and vegetable industry. After a numerous of specialized studies by the Department of Research and Development in the field of Refrigeration, our company was led to the formation of the highly innovative system of storing products in controlled atmosphere situations.

Reducing the amount of oxygen in a storage chamber results in the slowing down of the aging (ripening) of each fruit and vegetable, which leads to an increase in the shelf life of each product.

Specifically, the Controlled Atmosphere systems provide:

  • Increasing the shelf life of products without changing their ingredients and taste.
  • Slowing down the aging (ripening) of fruits and vegetables
  • Limiting the pre-harvest use of plant regulators used to delay ripening.
  • Reduction in the extent of symptoms from physiological abnormalities caused by prolonged periods of cold storage (e.g. surface browning of apples).
  • Complete successful control of physiological abnormalities.
  • Absence of chemicals since there is a combination of low temperature with a significant reduction of oxygen. This process is only achieved with special machines, which absorb about 20% of the oxygen in the Cold Chamber.
  • Increased levels of Carbon Dioxide CO2 (10 – 15%) which significantly inhibit the growth of the Botrytis fungus on fresh fruit.
  • With special modifications, control of bacteria and insects that grow on certain products.
